Transcription: This movie tutorial looks at Impulse, Live's built-in drum sampler. We will look at basic usage as well as some routing for mixing purposes. Impulse is a drum sampler that can hold and trigger eight different sounds. Each sound can be heavily manipulated. As with most live devices, we also have a number of velocity and randomization options. To get started, simply drag samples to any of the eight slots or load a preset from the browser.
